Customers in the UK and overseas need to talk to their
airlines/tour operators/travel agents in the first instance to see what
the current situation is. If trips are being postponed, we can
rearrange/rebook the insurance. Many tour operators and travel agents
are refunding or amending bookings.
Customers who, having spoken to their travel agents or tour
operators, wish to discuss making a claim with us should contact us
accordingly as outlined in the policy booklet.
Customers who arranged their trips to Mexico independently (not
via a travel agent or tour operators) should contact us accordingly as
we will be considering these claims on a case by case basis, subject to
normal terms and conditions.
Provided they have not travelled against Foreign and
Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice, customers who are taken ill whilst on
holiday in Mexico will be covered for medical expenses subject to normal
terms and conditions. They should contact the emergency assistance
service as outlined in the policy booklet.
